Apple Planning Christmas Surprise With New Products, Cashback Plan

Apple - iPhone

Tech giant Apple is planning a big Christmas surprise. The iPhone maker has announced products over the past few months. But its two much-talked products are yet to hit the shelves. The two items are AirTags and AirPods Studio. Apple is working on AirTags for a long. It is basically a tracking device. It can act as a key finder in case of theft. Earlier in April 2020, Apple had confirmed that AirTags will be launched in this year itself. Although similar tracking tiles are already available in the market, AirTags are believed to be deeply integrated with products manufactured by Apple. According to the company, AirTags will have built-in chips. Notably, it has quietly added a sign of AirTags in iOS 13 beta version, giving a rise to Apple users to expect a launch soon.

The new AirPods Studio will feature a very different look than its predecessors. It will be the first AirPods over-ear headphones. The over-the-ear headphones are in the works for years. The company has added a new icon to the latest iOS beta version, revealing the first preview of the product. The new device is said to be the most expensive AirPods ever made by Apple. The AirPods are likely to come in two styles. The Sport version will carry a price tag of USD 350. The high-end luxury version will cost USD 599. The AirPods will give tough competition to the headphones market currently having dominance by Sony and Bose.

Apple might announce the new products next month, but these items will be made available to customers at stores only next year. Reports even say that Apple could announce a cashback program on similar lines of 2019. Apple in 2019 announced a holiday promotion. It allowed Apple card users to get 6 percent cashback daily on most products purchased. The holiday season in the USA starts with Thanksgiving. It ends after the Christmas break. Apple recently launched its first ARM Macs at a high-profile virtual event.
