Apple TV Plus is Making a Debut in November with $9.99 Per Month Subscription

Apple TV

According to the new report published by Bloomberg, Apple TV Plus, the online content streaming service is getting ready for the official launch. November is marked as the debut month for Apple TV streaming service, which will come with a starter subscription pack of $9.99 per month. Apple has not yet revealed the exact date and pricing of the subscription service, but the third-party reports claim so. Apple announced the service officially back in March, but never took the liberty to discuss the pricing and expected release date.

Apple is expectedly competing with Disney Streaming service from Disney and might launch Apple TV Plus service on the same day. Disney+ service is being unveiled on 12th November and we are assuming Apple is going to reveal streaming service on the same date. While Disney+ will have the proprietary content from Disney, Marvel, Original content and licensed content, Apple TV Plus will have only the Original and Licensed content. As of now, Apple has only developed a few TV series and licensed a few movies to start with. There is not going to be a variety of content available to all of the subscribers in the beginning.

In the beginning, the service will have The Morning Show featuring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon; See featuring Aquaman’s Jason Momoa; a production called Truth Be Told with actress Octavia Spencer; Steven Spielberg’s revival of Amazing Stories; and a documentary series called Home. The list is not so interesting compared to the streaming library of the competitors. Apple has roped in a few notable celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and others for making Original content. But, the rate of upload of the new series will be much slower than the competitors like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
