Apple AirPower Wireless Charging

Apple AirPower Wireless Charging Mats faced a lot of difficulties before making it to the production line. From an expected launch date in the March 2018, the Charging Mat from Apple delayed, and people thought it’d gone forever. But recently, we heard from the Supply Chain information blog that the company had resumed the production and the AirPower Charging mat is one the production line. Now as per the new sources, the AirPower wireless charging mats might make their debuts in the market later this year.

Recent rumors suggested that Apple’s AirPower Wireless Charging Mat might take the spot in Apple Store’s shelves in the first quarter of 2019. Now, the credible source claim that the company is planning to launch the device later this year and not in the first quarter. It’s already been a long time since the Charging mat was announced in 2017 along with the iPhone X to the public. But, the production faced technical difficulties, and the public release of the product was delayed by almost more than one year.

Thankfully, the company engineers have fixed the technical issues and resumed the production this year. The Luxshare precision and Pegatron are manufacturing the device for Apple. The device is the oval-shaped wireless charging mat, which can charge the iPhone, iPad and other accessories that support the wireless charging. As of now, there are no official accessories for Apple smartphone users to help them wirelessly charge the devices. With the arrival of the AirPower mat to the public later this year, the iPhone, iPad and the AirPod users will have the accessory to charge their device without any concerns about the Wired chargers. There are slight chances that the AirPower mat may charge third-party devices as well.
