Cancer is that type of disease which no would want to get diagnosed with it. In the USA many kinds of cancers are decreasing every year, but according to the recent health study, it’s been found that Uterine cancer is getting increased every year. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed data which states that in the US the cases of uterine cancer are getting enlarged and black women are getting more diagnosed with it. According to the CDC, there are lots of factors because of which the nation is seeing more number of patients with uterine cancer, but obesity is the primary reason behind this problem. According to health experts, they found that those people who are suffering from diabetes or obesity have higher chances of getting uterine cancer.
According to the health report of the CDC, Uterine cancer is the seventh most common cause of cancer death among the US women. In 2015 more than 53000 women were diagnosed with uterine cancer and this number is getting increased every year. The researchers found while studying the historical data that the new cases of uterine cancer have raised more than 0.7 percent every year from 1999 to 2015, and the number of new uterine cancer cases were higher among black women.
Many health experts don’t know why so black women are getting diagnosed with uterus cancer, but according to them, it could be because of genetic problems and another could be the lack of access to medical care. Black people are relatively poorer, or they live in those rural areas where they don’t get the appropriate amount of health care. CDC is trying their best to make health awareness to stop spreading such kind of diseases among women, and we hope in future we will be able to see a reduced number of patient with uterus cancer.
